Why I chose my topic

I chose the history of Nestle because I like chocolate. I also like their iced tea. I wanted to learn more about their products and how they were invented. I was also interested on what new foods they will invent next. I am really excited about my topic.

The nestle story

Nestle started as a baby food company. Henri Nestlé wanted to make nutritious baby food to stop babies from dying of malnutrition. Nestle didn't become a chocolate company until 1875 when  Daniel Peter invneted milk chocolate. This is when nestle took off

I can't imagine what type of baby food they made but I bet babies loved it! I for one am very happy that they decided to branch out into manufacturing chocolate. Their candy is fabulous! Nice work Carter.
